![]() ![]() Plex picks up on the external subtitle during scanning and sets it as the default. I had a similar issue and setup a postprocessing script in Sonarr to demux the ass subtitle from the mkv, convert/strip it to srt, and save it with the same name as the video in the same postprocessed directory with an ENG.srt ending. Worth to mention: transcoding is not an option. ![]() But I can't do much when it comes to animes with japanese voices :)) If I disable the subs, the video plays well. srt subs for a tone of animes is really a PITA. Is there any way to handle this that doesn't involve googling for. However, I can't find any way to play my animes. I played - so far - every type of content I tried, including 4k movies. I also have a PS4, but it seemed very clunky when it came to playing plex media. Therefore, I either using the PLEX app on my TV, or cast from my phone (using plex app) to my Chromecast.
